Terms of Service

By accessing or using Greentext AI at greentext.ai ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Greentext AI provides an AI-powered text humanization and AI content detection service that transforms AI-generated text into natural, human-sounding writing.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, do not access or use the Service.

The free trial is limited to one per person and device. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free-trial usage (including via private browsing, VPNs, or disposable email addresses) is prohibited. We may use technical signals — such as device characteristics and network data — to detect related accounts; where we identify them, we may link those accounts so that they share a single trial allowance, require additional verification, or suspend them. The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Some plans include a usage-based overage component — if you exceed your monthly word allowance, additional words are billed at the rate displayed at checkout.

Payment is processed by our platform-specific partners depending on how you access the Service:

• Web: Stripe — handles card payments and subscription management. We do not store your card details.
• iOS: Apple In-App Purchase — managed entirely through the App Store under Apple's terms. Subscription management and cancellation are handled via your Apple ID settings.
• Android: Google Play Billing — managed entirely through Google Play under Google's terms. Subscription management and cancellation are handled via your Google account settings.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled before the renewal date. Cancellation methods depend on your platform: via account settings (web), Apple ID subscriptions (iOS), or Google Play subscriptions (Android).

You may request a refund within 14 days of initial purchase if the Service does not perform as described. To request a refund, contact: support [at] greentext.ai

For purchases made through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing, refund requests must be submitted through Apple or Google respectively, in accordance with their refund policies. We are unable to process refunds for mobile platform purchases directly.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Submit content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Copy, redistribute, or resell the Service or any portion thereof
• Circumvent access controls, rate limits, or security measures
• Use automated means to access the Service in a manner that imposes excessive load

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by the Operator and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain full ownership of the text you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, temporary, non-exclusive license to process your submitted text solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership over your content.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI detector bypass results will meet your specific requirements. Results may vary.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.

WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

Note: Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations. In such cases, these limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

If Greentext AI Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your account and personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy or terms of service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware, USA.

For EU/EEA residents: Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable EU consumer protection laws, including your right to bring a claim before the courts of your country of residence.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or through a prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
